Project Hope - Ixchiguan

Project Hope - Ixchiguan (isch-tchi-guan) provides partial scholarships to youth in the northwestern frontier of Guatemala to help provide children in elementary through high school much-needed supplies and uniforms.  Currently, Project Hope is assisting over 230 children who attend school.  This ministry is shared by CTK and Hope Lutheran Church in Plainwell, Michigan.  CTK's primary effort is fundraising to support this wonderful ministry.


ELCA Global Ministries and International Development

The ELCA is one of 142 member churches in the The Lutheran World Federation, collaborating in 79 countries. The ELCA works with our Lutheran brothers and sisters around the world "to grow the church and to do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities everywhere."   • Pursuing support for crucial and innovative approaches to participating in God’s mission in the world.

The ELCA also supports international development and relief efforts in collaboration with Lutheran congregations in the U.S. and abroad as well as other charitable and service organizations.
